Whether it is sound or playerbility, or even aesthetics, upgrading a guitar is likely to be the first option before a consideration to sell. On a personal note all guitars can be upgraded or improved for playability but sometimes a suggestion for ‘time to change’ or ‘recommendation’ is all that is is required to have an effect and the musician may decide to upgrade their instrument.

- Fretwork and setups – including string action and fret ware
- Tone capacitors and switch options (coil-tap and phase options)
